HiSky has filed updates to its Bucharest – New York JFK schedule, reflecting a reduction in operational frequencies later this year. Between September 7, 2025, and October 25, 2025, the airline will decrease service from five to four weekly flights on this transatlantic route.
Following the summer schedule adjustment, HiSky plans to maintain four weekly flights throughout the winter 2025/26 season, which begins on October 26, 2025. This marks an increase compared to the three weekly flights operated during the winter 2024/25 season, highlighting a measured growth approach for the route.
The service is operated by HiSky Europe’s Airbus A330 aircraft, providing passengers with a wide-body option for travel between Romania and the United States.
The updated schedule between September 7 and October 25, 2025, is as follows:
- H4101 departs Bucharest (OTP) at 09:30, arriving in New York JFK at 12:20 (operates every day except Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
- H4102 departs New York JFK at 13:50, arriving in Bucharest the next day at 05:40 (operates every day except Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
HiSky’s adjustment reflects seasonal demand patterns while still committing to a stronger winter offering than in previous years, ensuring continued connectivity between Romania and the United States.
