AJet Expands Syrian Network with New Ankara – Damascus Route

AJet expands Syrian network with new Ankara – Damascus route. Beginning 22 April 2025, the airline will launch a new Ankara – Damascus service, complementing its previously announced Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen – Damascus route.

The new service from Ankara Esenboğa Airport (ESB) to Damascus International Airport (DAM) will operate three times weekly, utilizing Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Flights are scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with the following timetable:

  • VF591 ESB 06:30 – 08:10 DAM
  • VF592 DAM 09:10 – 11:00 ESB

This move reflects AJet’s growing focus on rebuilding air connectivity between Turkey and Syria, serving both commercial and diaspora travel needs. As regional demand increases, the airline’s expansion into Syrian airspace signals a cautious but strategic reopening of air routes between the neighboring countries.

With this new addition, AJet continues to position itself as a key player in reconnecting regional hubs in the Middle East.
