Flynas will connect Riyadh and Kraków from June

Kraków is set to establish a direct air link with Saudi Arabia! Low-cost carrier flynas will inaugurate flights between Riyadh and Kraków on June 26, operating the route three times a week, as reported by Rynek Lotniczy.

Back in February, news surfaced that Saudi Arabia’s aviation authorities had designated flynas as the airline responsible for operating flights to Poland. The airline subsequently applied for approval to commence services between Riyadh and Kraków. Initially, the required documentation was expected to be submitted via diplomatic channels; however, this process was not completed. As a result, Poland’s Civil Aviation Authority (ULC) requested that flynas formally submit the necessary paperwork.

Now, it’s official—the route is happening. According to Rynek Lotniczy, direct flights will launch on Friday, June 26. Flynas has scheduled its 174-seat Airbus A320neo aircraft to operate between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Kraków’s John Paul II International Airport three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The route will be a seasonal service, with the final flight scheduled for August 31.
