Wizz Air Unveils New Routes from Romania to Antalya, Berlin, Kefalonia and Abu Dhabi

Wizz Air is preparing to launch a new set of routes that will connect Romania’s major airports with popular destinations such as Antalya, Berlin, Kefalonia and Abu Dhabi. The Hungarian low-cost carrier announced that the first flights are scheduled to begin in the spring of next year.

Four New Wizz Air Routes Starting in 2026: Ticket Prices and Details

The first new services will depart from Cluj-Napoca to Antalya (Turkey) and Berlin (Germany), starting in March 2026. In addition, from June next year, Wizz Air will begin operating flights from Bucharest Henri Coandă (Otopeni) Airport to Kefalonia (Greece). Cluj-Napoca will also regain a direct connection to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), with flights resuming in October 2026.

Flights from Cluj-Napoca to Antalya will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting on 30 March, followed by the launch of the Cluj-Napoca–Berlin route on 31 March, with services on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Cluj-Napoca–Abu Dhabi route will be relaunched on 27 October, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Meanwhile, the new Wizz Air connection between Bucharest Otopeni and Kefalonia will launch on 9 June, with flights operating every Tuesday and Saturday. Fares start from just 99 lei, and tickets are already available on wizzair.com and via the WIZZ mobile app.

Since the start of its operations in Romania in 2006, Wizz Air has steadily increased its investments, viewing the country as a strategic market. Today, the airline offers 214 routes from 14 Romanian airports, connecting passengers to 82 destinations across 27 countries.
