Craiova, Romania – Wizz Air announced the addition of four new destinations from Craiova International Airport, strengthening its network in southern Romania. Beginning in October 2025, passengers will gain direct access to Paris, Naples, Athens, and, starting next spring, Barcelona.
The Craiova–Paris Beauvais service will launch on 26 October 2025, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. Routes to Naples and Athens will follow on 28 October 2025, with flights every Tuesday and Saturday. The Barcelona El Prat connection will commence on 29 March 2026, offering service on Thursdays and Sundays.
“These four new destinations rank among the most requested by our passengers,” said Sorin Manda, General Director of Craiova International Airport. “Their launch marks a significant step in enhancing connectivity for the Oltenia region.”
With these additions, Wizz Air continues to expand its footprint in Romania, offering travelers more choice and competitive fares to sought-after European hubs.
