Tirana, Albania – Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is set to expand its operations from Tirana, introducing two new routes to Lamezia Terme, Italy, and Warsaw Chopin Airport, Poland, the Tirana International Airport (TIA) announced on Thursday.
The new connection to Lamezia Terme, a city in southern Italy, will commence on March 15, with flights operating twice weekly. Meanwhile, the Warsaw Chopin Airport route will launch on March 31, also with a twice-weekly service, according to Ryanair’s website.
With these additions, Ryanair continues to strengthen its presence in Albania, offering connections from Tirana to destinations across Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
The airline’s expansion underscores Tirana’s growing role as a key aviation hub in the region, enhancing travel options for both leisure and business passengers.
