LOT Polish Airlines Launches Direct Flights to Marrakesh – LOT Polish Airlines is adding a splash of North African allure to its winter schedule with the launch of direct flights from Warsaw to Marrakesh — Morocco’s vibrant cultural capital and gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Starting October 29, LOT will operate twice-weekly flights to Marrakesh, departing from Warsaw Chopin Airport every Wednesday and Saturday morning. The route will be served by Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 737-800 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey for both leisure travelers and those making onward connections.
This new service comes as Morocco enjoys a tourism boom, having welcomed a record-breaking 17.4 million visitors in 2024 — a 20% increase from the previous year. With travelers seeking authentic, sun-drenched destinations during the colder European months, Marrakesh offers a perfect blend of history, warmth, and exotic charm.
