Croatia Airlines is set to expand its European network in May 2026 with the launch of two new seasonal routes connecting Croatia with Stuttgart and Nantes. The additions strengthen the airline’s Western European presence and align with its ongoing fleet modernization centered on the Airbus A220.

Dubrovnik – Stuttgart

Starting 4 May 2026, Croatia Airlines will inaugurate a twice-weekly service between Dubrovnik (DBV) and Stuttgart (STR).

  • Frequency: 2 weekly (operating on days 1 and 5)
  • Aircraft: Airbus A220-300, switching to A319 from 11 May 2026
  • Schedule:
    • OU4428 DBV 18:00 – 19:45 STR (319 | 1, 5)
    • OU4429 STR 20:35 – 22:15 DBV (319 | 1, 5)

The new link will offer additional connectivity for both leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travel, supporting Dubrovnik’s strong summer demand from the German market.

Split – Nantes

A second new route will connect Split (SPU) with Nantes (NTE) beginning 5 May 2026, also operating twice weekly.

  • Frequency: 2 weekly (operating on days 2 and 5)
  • Aircraft: Airbus A220-100/-300
  • Schedule:
    Tuesdays (Day 2)
    • OU4010 SPU 15:00 – 17:20 NTE (223)
    • OU4011 NTE 18:10 – 20:20 SPU (223)
    Fridays (Day 5)

    • OU4011 NTE 20:45 – 23:00 SPU (221)

This route strengthens Croatia Airlines’ reach into western France and supports growing tourism flows between the Adriatic coast and the Loire region.

Fleet Transition Continues

Both routes prominently feature the Airbus A220, reflecting Croatia Airlines’ long-term fleet renewal strategy aimed at boosting efficiency and passenger comfort.
