Low-cost carrier Wizz Air will add another popular Croatian seaside destination to its summer schedule, launching flights from Budapest to Zadar starting on 9 June.

The route will be operated by Airbus A321neo aircraft four times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Flights will run from 9 June until 19 September. Tickets are available from HUF 11,900 via Wizz Air’s website and mobile application.

Rival carrier Ryanair will also operate seasonal flights between Budapest and Zadar from early June through the end of September, with three weekly services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. As a result, strong competition is expected on the route, and passengers may even combine flights from both airlines to take advantage of lower fares.

In January, Wizz Air announced the launch of flights to Dubrovnik starting in June, operating three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In early February, Ryanair also confirmed it would introduce seasonal services to the Dalmatian coast’s most popular city.
