According to BoardingPass.ro, AJet, the low-cost subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, will enter the Romanian market next year with a new seasonal service linking Bucharest to the Turkish resort city of Bodrum. The route has already appeared in the airline’s booking system, with inaugural flights scheduled for June 26, 2026.

The new connection marks AJet’s debut in Romania and will operate once a week, every Friday. All flights will use Bucharest’s Henri Coandă International Airport.

According to the schedule published by the airline, flight VF1228 will depart Bucharest (OTP) at 11:30, landing in Bodrum (BVJ) at 13:20, while the return service, VF1227, will leave Bodrum at 08:50 and arrive in Bucharest at 10:40.

Ajet plans to operate the route with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, offering a flight time of around one hour and 40 minutes.

The Bucharest–Bodrum service will be available exclusively during the summer season, with operations set to continue until the end of October 2026. Tickets are already on sale through the airline’s website.
