Leisure airline Jet2 will introduce seasonal summer flights between London Gatwick and Pula, expanding its presence on the Croatian market shortly after announcing the opening of a new base at the London airport.
The weekly service will launch on May 2 and operate until October 17, utilising the carrier’s 232-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft. Jet2 will face direct competition from easyJet and TUI, both of which already maintain operations on the route.
The announcement comes one week after Jet2 signed a four-year partnership agreement with the Croatian National Tourist Board aimed at supporting new route development and increasing capacity to Croatia.
By the 2026 summer season, Pula is expected to be connected to eight UK airports through Jet2’s network: Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Stansted, and Manchester. The upcoming Gatwick service will mark Jet2’s fifth route to Pula, joining existing flights from Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester, and London Stansted.
