Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air is further expanding its presence in Estonia with the launch of two new routes from Tallinn Airport — to Vilnius and Gdańsk.
“We are pleased to see that Wizz Air recognizes Tallinn Airport’s growth potential and is choosing to strengthen its presence in our market,” said Jane Kallaste, Communications Specialist at Tallinn Airport. “In mid-September, the airline announced daily direct flights to Vilnius starting December 12 this year. Yesterday brought more good news — beginning May 1 next year, Wizz Air will launch five weekly flights to Gdańsk.”
In addition to the newly announced services, Wizz Air’s Tallinn network includes several other destinations:
- Kraków – starting October 26, three flights per week
- Venice – starting December 3, two flights per week
- London – currently five flights per week, reducing to three per week after mid-October
“Work to expand our route network continues every day,” Kallaste added. “We are constantly looking for new opportunities to offer our passengers more travel options and better connectivity.”
