AnimaWings, Romania’s fully Romanian-owned airline, will inaugurate direct flights between Bucharest and Geneva starting 23 March 2026. The service will operate three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—making AnimaWings the only carrier offering a nonstop link between Romania and Geneva, the world-renowned hub for business, diplomacy, and international conferences.
Fares and Travel Perks
Tickets are already on sale via the AnimaWings website and partner agencies, with one-way fares from €99.99 in the AnimaONE class. This fare includes an 8 kg cabin bag, a 4 kg personal item, free seat selection, and complimentary online and airport check-in, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Strategic Expansion
“Geneva is a key international center for business, diplomacy, and global conferences, and it’s home to a vibrant Romanian community,” noted Marius Pandel, President of AnimaWings. “This new route offers a direct, fast, and comfortable connection that meets both corporate and personal travel needs, while reinforcing Romania’s links to major European hubs.”
The Geneva launch is part of AnimaWings’ accelerated growth strategy. Beginning this autumn, the airline will introduce 12 new international routes—including Munich, Prague, Sofia, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, and Dubai—supported by the rollout of next-generation Airbus A220 aircraft. With the fifth aircraft arriving this month and a total of 12 units scheduled for delivery by 2026, AnimaWings continues to expand its network while delivering modern comfort, efficiency, and connectivity to passengers across Europe and beyond.
