According to BoardingPass.ro, Wizz Air is expanding its route network from Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, announcing today the launch of two new destinations: Paris Orly (France) and Maastricht (Netherlands), according to a statement from the airline. The flights will begin in October and follow the recent introduction of the Frankfurt Hahn route, which is already operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The Bucharest–Paris Orly route will be available starting October 26, with a frequency of six weekly flights, while the service to Maastricht will launch on October 27, with flights on Mondays and Fridays. These new connections will either replace or complement existing routes, addressing the growing demand for affordable and diverse travel options during the winter season. Tickets are already on sale, with fares starting from 99 RON.

“Our network expansion from Bucharest reflects our strong commitment to the Romanian market and our determination to meet the increasingly diverse needs of our passengers,” said Mauro Peneda, Managing Director of Wizz Air Malta.

These new routes come in addition to the seven destinations previously announced for the period of October 26–28: Yerevan, Brindisi, Cologne, Gdansk, Porto, Pescara, and Bratislava.
