SalamAir Resumes Flights Between Muscat and Sarajevo for Summer 2024

SalamAir resumes flights between Muscat and Sarajevo for Summer 2024 – The omani low-cost carrier is set to reconnect the Middle East with the Balkans this summer, announcing the return of its seasonal service between Muscat and Sarajevo. Known for its affordable fares and growing network, SalamAir continues to cater to both leisure and diaspora travel markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The airline will commence flights on July 2, 2024, with the service running twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, until August 30, 2024. Operated by the airline’s 212-seat Airbus A321neo, the route offers passengers a comfortable and fuel-efficient travel experience on one of the most modern narrow-body aircraft in the industry.

This seasonal route marks a return of SalamAir to the Bosnian capital, following a similar summer operation in 2023. The Muscat–Sarajevo connection caters to a growing interest among Omani travelers in exploring Southeastern Europe’s scenic landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and cooler summer climate. At the same time, it provides greater accessibility for Bosnians looking to visit Oman or travel onward across the Gulf region.

Tickets are now available for purchase through SalamAir’s official website, offering competitive prices and convenient booking options. Further flight details, including exact timings and fares, can be found online.

The Muscat–Sarajevo route adds to SalamAir’s expanding European portfolio and reinforces its role in promoting tourism and strengthening bilateral ties between Oman and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  1. I think it’s great to see more flight options being introduced, especially for routes like Timișoara–Istanbul and Craiova–Istanbul. It’s a smart move by Animawings to include so many perks like free seat selection and check-in. I’m curious, though, why tickets for the Timișoara route aren’t available yet—any idea when they’ll be up for booking? Also, the price seems reasonable, but I wonder if there will be any promotions or discounts later. It’s impressive that Animawings is a fully Romanian airline—do you think this gives them an edge in understanding local travelers’ needs? Lastly, what’s your take on the competition with other airlines on these routes? Would love to hear your thoughts!

  2. Great news about the new flight routes! It’s exciting to see Animawings expanding its services to Istanbul, especially with affordable prices and included perks like free seat selection. I’m curious, though, why the Timișoara route isn’t available for booking yet—is there a specific reason behind that? It’s also impressive how SalamAir is reconnecting the Middle East with the Balkans, offering a great opportunity for cultural exchange. Air Serbia’s return to Belgrade–Geneva is a nice touch, but the 2025 relaunch seems quite far off—why such a long wait? Overall, these developments are promising for travelers. What’s your take on these new routes? Do you think they’ll boost tourism and connectivity in these regions?
